Letter Home

Dear Archway Lincoln Parents,

I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to work with your students this first quarter. It has been so fun to see your student’s excitement and enthusiasm for music. I have been pleasantly surprised many times by their ability to memorize songs quickly and their hunger to learn nearly everything I present to them.

Fall Concert Reminder

The Fall Concert is coming up! We have been working hard on our concert repertoire in music class. I have heard from a few parents that their students have been practicing at home. :)
In case you forgot to put it on your calendar, the concert is:

Thursday, November 19th

K-2 is 5:30- 6:30pm
3-5 is 7:30-8:30pm

Attendance to these concerts is mandatory for students. Performance is a vital part of musical instruction. Concerts serve as a learning experience for the students as well as a chance for them to display the result of their efforts. Please see the Family Handbook for details on attire (p 50).
